
Bernard Eydt – Member At Large
Bernard Eydt is an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, a global management and technology consulting company. He is a leading expert in wireless systems assurance, with specialized background in software re-configurable radio, radio frequency identification (RFID), Wi-Fi, and public safety communications. His clients include the Joint Program Executive Office (JPEO) Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS), the US Department of Homeland Security, and the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). He also is currently the Secretary of IEEE Standards Coordinating Committee 41, which focuses on standards related to dynamic spectrum access, and is a member of the IEEE DySPAN Policy Committee.
He previously worked as a regulatory analyst at the White House Office of Management and Budget, where he was one of the youngest professionals ever to win its Special Performance Award. He earned a B.A. in computer science from Columbia University, an M.A. in statistics from Yale University, and an M.P.A. in economics and public policy from Princeton University.
